Paul Haywood is the Associate Dean for Academic Development at Cenral Saint Martins College and Visiting Professor for Creative Community Engagement at the University of Salford. His practice and research interests are largely concerned with social activism through cultural practice and he has long term interests in the collective 'Guns to Goods', working with Karen Lyons and Kelly Burgess, and the 'Collaborative Learning Action Network' in partenrship with Ruth Potts and Bill Smid. He has been collaborating with designer Maxine Kennedy on landscape colour mapping projects since 2001. He has a studio that he uses for painting at Ebor Studios in Rochdale, Lancashire.
