Where is the 'public value' and how is it realised? Private collections or public, are either really visible? What is the impact of the current financial situation, if any?

    A Symposium about Painting as a Practice

    This exhibition draws together eight artists using and abusing the recognised practices in painting. They offer works that swerve back and forth between organisation and impulse. Many of the artists included are reclaiming established systems of production only to throw the viewer off course by introducing the problematic.
